Sniper Elite 5: every campaign mission in order (with gameplay)

Quick answer: the Sniper Elite 5 main campaign has 9 missions, in this order: The Atlantic Wall, Occupied Residence, Spy Academy, War Factory, Festung Guernsey, Libération, Secret Weapons, Rubble and Ruin and, finally, Loose Ends. Wolf Mountain is a separate DLC mission and is not part of that sequence.

Below is the full list with a short summary of each mission’s goal and the episode of our full campaign playthrough where it appears — handy if you are stuck and want to see one way through. Note: the videos are narrated in Brazilian Portuguese, but the gameplay speaks for itself.

Mission list in order

#	Mission	Where to watch
1	The Atlantic Wall	Episode 1
2	Occupied Residence	Episodes 2 and 3
3	Spy Academy	Episode 4
4	War Factory	Episode 5
5	Festung Guernsey	Episodes 6 and 7
6	Libération	Episodes 8 and 9
7	Secret Weapons	Episode 10
8	Rubble and Ruin	Episodes 11 and 12
9	Loose Ends	Episode 12

Long missions were split into two parts on the channel, so episode numbers don’t match mission numbers. To follow everything in sequence, the campaign page lists all 12 episodes and lets you mark what you’ve already watched.

What happens in each mission

1. The Atlantic Wall

The campaign opens with Karl Fairburne on the French coast, among the German defenses, and introduces the game’s structure: open maps, optional objectives and multiple infiltration routes. From here on, the story revolves around Operation Kraken, the secret German project Karl investigates until the end.

2. Occupied Residence

Karl infiltrates a Nazi-occupied château to eliminate Friedrich Kummler and recover documents about Project Kraken. It’s a big mission — it took two episodes on the channel.

3. Spy Academy

An infiltration of a fortified island to spy on a secret officers’ meeting and gather evidence of the operation. This mission’s Kill List target is Fabian Richter.

4. War Factory

A huge industrial complex where the goal is to sabotage weapon and vehicle production, recover Project Kraken documents and eliminate the Kill List target, Matthaus Ehrlich.

5. Festung Guernsey

Karl crosses coastal defenses, bunkers and an occupied quarry on the island of Guernsey, looking for clues about the German plans. Another long one, split into two parts on the channel.

6. Libération

In the French countryside, the mission is to support the French Resistance: weaken enemy defenses and destroy artillery positions to clear the way for local fighters.

7. Secret Weapons

An infiltration of a secret weapons research and testing facility tied to the V2 rocket program.

8. Rubble and Ruin

In St. Nazaire, Karl must get into the Operation Kraken facilities and destroy the U-boats that are part of the German plan. The mission also includes an optional challenge involving the Japanese commander Shinji Yoshikawa.

9. Loose Ends

The final chapter, which wraps up the Operation Kraken story. On the channel it was played in the same episode that finishes Mission 8.

What about Wolf Mountain?

Wolf Mountain (Target Führer: Wolf Mountain) is a bonus mission sold as DLC, set at the Berghof in the Bavarian Alps. It doesn’t count toward the 9 main campaign missions.

Playing with Axis Invasion on

The whole campaign on the channel was played with Axis Invasion turned on — which is why so many episodes feature duels against real players. To learn how that mode works (and how to switch it off), read Axis Invasion in Sniper Elite 5: what it is and how to turn it off.
